Milla Kaamos
Milla Kaamos was born and raised in Finland in the landscape of her debut novel We'll Always Have Räyhäkoski (Propertius Press, 2022).
In 1995 she moved to Paris, where she has worked as a freelance journalist, packaging editor, and communication manager. Like most ordinary immigrants she has also gone through harder times and supported her family by optimizing fabric cuttings, filling face cream in bottles by hand, and planning road haulers' loadings and un-loadings abroad. Therefore, when she writes about Paris, it's not only oyster eating and wine tasting.
Milla Kaamos has a Master’s degree in Social Sciences (University of Tampere, Finland 1990) and a D.E.A. Diploma, diplôme d’études approfondies, in Contemporary History from E.H.E.S.S, Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales de Paris, 1996. She writes in English and French.
